Ingredients: pure L-Arginine Hydrochloride. (One 5ml metric teaspoon = 4000mg)

Did you know? An important clinical test uses arginine to trigger the secretion of HGH from the pituitary. This is used to identify levels of GH deficiency.

Pure amino acid powders may be slightly hygroscopic (retain moisture) and this can result in clumping.

Serving size: L-Arginine is generally well absorbed orally and can be added to foods or liquids. An average adult serving varies from  2g to 20g depending on diet and other factors.

Tip: Arginine levels can best be maintained by not taking it continuously. A schedule of something like four weeks of continuous use followed by a two-week break generally works best.

When carbohydrates are present in large amount, particularly when combined with high temperatures (like post workout), it can be rendered nutritionally unavailable to the body, so tale well away from carbohydrate-based meals.

Warning: This product is sold as a food only.

L-Arginine is rich in certain foods such as meats and nuts. It is a substrate for an enzyme that enables cells lining blood vessels to produce nitric oxide.

The effect of nitric oxide release in people with hypertension is relaxation of smooth muscle tissue with a resultant lowering of blood pressure.

Arginine is also used by the cells of the immune system for cell signalling or oxidative bactericidal actions via nitric oxide, resulting in reduced infection rates in people who are ill or immune-compromised.
